Obituary of Sylvia Allen

Sylvia K. Allen passed away peacefully on May 27, 2020 with her daughter and granddaughter by her side. 

Sylvia was born in Albion, NY, and was a lifelong resident of Rochester, NY. She is predeceased by her parents, Max and Bertha Kravetz; brother, Erwin; sister, Marilyn; and her adoring husband, Sol “Sonny” Allen. Sylvia is survived by her children, Stuart, Susan, and Stacey, who was Sylvia’s best friend; loving grandchildren Leonard (Stacey), Briana (Zach), and Julia (Mike), and great-grandchildren, Estelle and Hazel. 

Sylvia was a Real Estate Broker and business owner for several years. She was beautiful, glamorous, smart, and caring. She will be remembered as a loving mother and a vibrant Nanie. Private graveside services will be held on May 31, 2020 at Britton Road Cemetery. Shiva will be observed privately by her family.
