Obituary of Leonard A. Ressel

Passed away on February 22, 2020, at the age of 86.  Predeceased by his parents Sarah and Sam Ressel; and daughter-in-law, Thereasa "Tres" Polet. Survived by his wife of over 61 years, Susan Judith Ressel “Judy”.  He was a devoted father to children, Howard (Amy) and Shari; loving grandchildren Louis (Nadia Pierre-Louis), Kate (Gabe Legett), Spencer Ressel and Adam Ressel Polet; great grandchildren Miguel, Annalysia and Amalia; and many nieces and nephews. 

Graduate of University of Buffalo, Leonard was a Pharmacist for CVS Pharmacy.  Leonard is a US Army veteran. Leonard was a kind, caring, compassionate man who was loved by all. 

Funeral Services will be held on TUESDAY February 25, 2020 at 1 PM at Temple Beth El (139 Winton Road South, Rochester NY 14610). Click HERE for a map to Temple.

Shiva will be held Tuesday from 7-9 PM and Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at 148 Penhurst Street, Rochester, New York. Click HERE for a map to the Shiva House. 

Donations may be made in Leonard’s memory to the Palliative Care Unit Strong Memorial Hospital, Leukemia Society or Temple Beth El Scholarship Fund.
