Jodi Weinberger

Obituary of Jodi Lynn Weinberger

August 2, 2019. Predeceased by her parents, Art and Sheila Gold; sisters, Robin and Sheri; niece, Staci. Survived by her husband, Andy; children, David (Erin) Weinberger, Jessica (Aaron Browne) Weinberger; granddaughter, Cameron Anna; brother, Jay (Cindy) Gold; nephews, Matthew Gold, Eli Schwartz, Michael Blaakman; nieces, Hannah Schwartz, Jamie Blaakman; father and mother in-law, Dick and Sheila Weinberger; sister-in-law, Ellen Weinberger.

Jodi was loved by all who knew her. To Sheila and Dick she was the love of their life. Best friend was not an exclusive term to Jodi. She was best friends with many of the women in her life. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, soccer coach, and confidante.

She loved to garden and grow flowers and vegetables. She loved to dig in the dirt with her hands while wearing some of her best jewelry. Her love of sheep/lamb chops was unquestioned; her constant curiosity lead to learning how to shear, butcher, process and prepare lamb. It was not enough just to order it off of a menu.

She was constantly learning and seeking out new opportunities. She was interested in Einstein’s theories and liked to think that she was fluent in British.
Jodi never stopped working; 23 years in pharmaceutical sales and 15 years in real- estate sales. However, Jodi always found time to contribute to some of her passions. She gave her time freely to the Equicenter, working with children having disabilities, and at the stroke rehab center near her home in Florida.

She also had a passion for travel and adventure and spent many happy times sailing with her friends and family in the Caribbean, BVI’s, St. John’s, St. Bart’s, Greece, and Martinique. She worked out with complete focus and the goal of generating a fabulous sweat! Jodi was joyful, engaged, and made the most of every day, delighting people around her with a sassy sense of spot-on humor.

Jodi will be missed and celebrated forever by everyone who knew her.
