Dearest Anne, Dick and beloved family,
I was so sad to read of Adele’s passing— she and Mort played a most significant role in our lives and although I have not had contact with Adele the past few years, so many wonderful memories are so very vivid! Both Adele and Mort inspired us to become sailors and so many wonderful times did we share. A awesome sail in the Virgin Islands and many sails on their boat and ours. Adele introduced me to skiing at Powder Mill Park— although I had trouble negotiating the rope tow, it became a sport that we shared a love for. Her administrated job in the Art Center at Nazareth brought us in close contact when I was getting my graduate degrees at Nazareth— she was my mentor when I had exams and needed encouragement. She and Mort made me a wonderful graduation party.
I was always in admiration of their life style— they were our “older” friends who modeled for us what adventure could be. I loved Adele for her individuality, her intelligence and her caring. She will be in my thoughts and happy memories forever.
My love and sincerest sympathy,
Ellie

To the dear family of the Ernestine’s...I, Sherry Meltzer Gold, is sad to have read your obituary yesterday.
I have many wonderful memories of the Ernestine’s. My brother, Evan, spent a lot of time playing and climbing trees for fun with the Ernestine’s family. We will always remember how happy our children felt when the many kids got together to play and climb trees.
Morrie and I recall, with smiles on our faces, that our adult children will be more available to someday meet again with the friends from Cathaway park, Morven Road, and other close by locations.
Please accept our condolences to the entire Erenstone family.
Sincerely,
Sherry Gold & Evan Meltzer

Dear Gwirtzman Family
Having been born 3 days before my childhood friend Milton , I spent many hours each day playing together at the family home down the street on Huntington Park. We continued our friendship until finishing high school at Franklin.
Milton and I shared a mutual interest in politics as we took a bus downtown to the political party headquarters to collect buttons and signs to add to our collection. Uncle Joe Silverstein was our inspiration to take an interest in government and politics.
over the years I would see Milton when he returned home for family events. We always talked about our friendship and our families.
Brad and I send our condolences to Adele's family. May her memory serve to heal the pain of her loss.
Mordecai Kolko
