When I visited my Mother in the Jewish Home, she always said,"Let's visit Rebbetzin Solomon. Mrs. Solomon always greeted us with good cheer and wonderful jokes. Whatever personal challenges she faced, she always had a positive attitude and enjoyed life. She was an inspiration to always make the best of things, help others, and look at the bright side of life. May her family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Israel and may her memory always be a blessing.

My mother, Ruth Berlove, of blessed memory, was a friend of Mrs. Solomon and visited her often. On behalf of our family I would like to extend our sympathy on the loss of such an incredible woman and hope that you are comforted among the mourners of Israel.

I met Mrs. Solomon through my work at Hillel School and often had the privilege of giving her a ride to programs at the school. She was one of the most delightful and happy people I've ever met. I enjoyed her stories of "back when" and her charming wit. I'm glad I had the opportunity to know her.

Mrs Soloman was a role model to me. Her life was devoted to family and community. I am reminded of a conversation where she told me how important it is for Jewish women to make contributions to the community. I am sure there are many women, like myself, who had similar conversations and remember them fondly. May her memory be for a blessing.

Mrs. Solomon always had a great sense of humor which informed her style of mothering and of motherhood. I admired her. She certainly raised most admirable children, my friend Ni prominent among them.

Gram also has three new great-great grandchildren born this year; however, in one way of "getting in a last word!" Gram had previously written her own obituary (before they were born)! She was always a writer and loved public relations.
What a woman! what a matriarch--she brought so many people together. . .I will write more later. One of her legacies is unconditional love, and may we all learn from her excellent example!
