Obituary of Donald B. Rubens

Donald B. Rubens Passed away on March 22, 2011 at age 82. Predeceased by his parents, J.H. & Florence Rubens. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Linda; devoted children, Douglas (Nicole) Rubens, Bobbi (Neal Levitt) Rubens, Sally Kenler & Peggy (Glenn Duhl) Rubens-Duhl; adored grandchildren, Alexa, Julia & Valerie Rubens, Joshua & Jamie Pearsen, Madeline & Michael Kenler and Jacqueline, Lauren & David Duhl; brother, Henry "Bud" (Sandie) Rubens; sister, Carolyn Moskowitz; nieces & nephews. Don was a graduate of Syracuse University & Michigan State University. His family was an owner of Star Supermarkets, where he was Vice President. Later, he established a commercial real estate business. He served on the boards of Temple B'rith Kodesh & the Al Sigl Center. He will be profoundly missed by his loving family, especially at their Canadian home on Whitefish Lake. "GO GRAMPI GO!!!!"
