I would like to express my sadness for the loss of your Mom. I was so very fortunate to have known Mrs. Haber. She can only be described as a lady. We had many wonderful conversations over the many years I knew her. Happy and sad ones. I know how much she loved her family. The wedding of her Granddaughter was the light that kept her going.
I am so glad that she has no more pain. And may she rest in peace.
Fondly,
Lynn Baker Alent

Good bye Omi, you were a light to all that you came in contact with. I have been shedding tears for you today. I know you are with me even more now, I can feel you ;) I aspire to be as great a beacon as you, in an attempt to fill the void you left in this reality. God knows this is not the time for this world to lose any more light...

Hi - My heart goes out to the family of Gisi. I knew her from the time she moved to the Summit. I will miss her dearly!I will miss her weekly routine passing me from the beauty salon saying "I am Queen for the day". I always told her she was beautiful everyday! In which she was inside and out. She had a heart of gold. She always asked me about my garden and we talked about her garden she had in the past. Judy ~ I will also miss your visits! I wish the family well and I hope all the wonderful memories of Gisela will always keep going throughout your lives.

I met Judy my freshman year in college, and then met her parents - Gisi and Joe. What good fortune for me! I adored them, and have such happy memories of visits and sharing in family milestones and celebrations over the years. Gisi had the gift to make you feel special, probably because she was so special herself - beautiful, strong-minded, a little quirky, a joy - a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend. I wish I had been able to give her one last hug and say goodby.

To Gisi's family,
I met Gisi when I was a little girl. My mother (Belle Levey) and she played bridge, shared recipes, and the special events in their lives. So, for more than 50 years I have been given the privilege of knowing, admiring and receiving hugs and kisses from her. Gisi was always full of love and concern. She seemed to care with sincere honesty about others. Besides being elegant in her appearance, she had inner beauty. When she expressed love, I felt loved. I feel so fortunate to have known her and I am so so sorry for your loss.
