I want to offer my deepest condolences for your loss. I had the honor of accompanying Sheldon along with my grandfather, Lou Sosne, on their recent Honor Flight trip to Washington, D.C. this past May. While on that trip Sheldon's kind spirit along with his love for sports, his country, and most of all his family made a profound impression on me! I especially enjoyed talking about our golf games and sharing tips on how to lower our scores! Sheldon was a great American and a great man! He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him!

Oy. My heart hurts for you all so much, to lose your mom & dad within months of one another. But my first thought was an image of them hugging & kissing, being overjoyed to see one another again. One can dream... Your dad's daily devotion to being with your mom when she was in The Home before she died speaks of a great, unconditional love that knew no bounds. We should all be so lucky to have a love story like that. I will always cherish the enduring love & kindness they showed to me & my parents (Shel & Rhea) throughout our lives. Bless you all.

I am shocked and saddened to hear that your wonderful father
has passed away. Sheldon was one of the nicest and kindest people around. He was so devoted to Phyllis and I truly believe he needed to be with her. I will always remember the wonderful stories and home movies he shared with all of us on Unit 6SW and his great love for Phyllis and all of you. My thoughts are with you. Fondly, Bobbi Rubens.

Shelly was a very dear friend to my
beloved father, Carl Baker. My Dad truly loved Shelly. We both appreciated Shelly's constant attention to Dad as he battled his cancer. Shelly brought the warmth of sunshine into any room he entered. He will be greatly missed by all who had the priviledge to know him. I am so sorry for your loss. I would like to think that Shelly & my Dad are now enjoying each other's company again.
