Obituary of Rosalyn Schreiber

Passed away on December 6, 2018, at the age of 93. Predeceased by her parents, Bernard and Fannie (Alderman) Libglid; and husband, David Schreiber. Survived by her daughters, Judith (Charles) Zysman and Marla (Michael) Miller; grandsons, Danny Zysman, Joshua (Bassie) Zysman, Matthew (Jamie Morvitz) and Samuel Miller; and great-granddaughter, Leah Raizel.

Roz served in the United Sates Cadet Nurse Corp during World War II. She also volunteered for Friends of Strong where she received an Honorary Lifetime Membership Award in 1996.

Funeral Services will be held on SUNDAY December 9, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Temple Beth El at 139 Winton Road South. Click HERE for a map to Temple.

Interment, Britton Road Cemetery.

The family will sit Shiva on SUNDAY from 4 – 7 PM in Sokol Pavilion at The Jewish Home (click HERE for a map) and MONDAY & TUESDAY from 2 - 4 PM & 7 - 9 PM at 2 Woodland Circle in Irondequoit (click HERE for a map).

Donations may be made to The Richard Briskin Cantor-in-Residence Memorial Fund at Temple Beth El (click HERE to doante) or Hadassah – Rochester Chapter (click HERE to doante) in Roz’s memory.
