Obituary of Mabel Silver

On September 2, 2018 at age 94. Predeceased by her brothers, Dr. William Martel and Dr. Julius Martel. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Julius L. Silver; 3 children, David I. Silver, Paul S. (Cheryl H.) Silver and Daniel S. (Susan G. Williams) Silver; sister, Bessie Carroll.

Mabel lived in Pittsford for over 40 years teaching for several decades at Thornell Road Elementary School. She was also passionate about writing poetry, painting and acting.

Funeral services will be held, THURSDAY, 11 AM at Brighton Memorial Chapel (3325 Winton Rd S). The family will receive friends from 10-10:45. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park. A period of mourning will be observed, Thursday, 7-9 PM and Saturday, 7-9 PM at (71 French Road, Rochester, New York 14618). No public mourning will be observed on Friday.
