Obituary of Solomon S. Baker

Solomon "Sol" Baker Brighton: July 30, 2008 with his family around him. Survived by loving wife of 58 years, Ruth; sons, Irwin and Stuart (Molly) Baker; "Papu" to Robert Solomon, Rory and Caitlin; brother, Carl Baker; brothers-in-law, Jerry Belz of Toronto and Jules Stern of Detroit; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, Sabety & Estraia Baker; brothers, Jack and Phil; sisters, Dora Levy and Sara Cassorla; nephew, Jack Levy. Sol was a WWII Veteran and the owner of Monarch Mufflers, Inc. With special thanks to Drs. Paul Fine & Henry Richter and staff and the comfort & care provided by Visiting Nurse Service-Hospice. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 1, 2008 at 2 PM at Brighton Memorial Chapel Inc. (3325 Winton Road S.). Click here for directions to the funeral home. Interment, Britton Road Cemetery.
