Obituary of Abraham E. Chait

Abraham E. Chait Irondequoit: December 6, 2009. He is survived by his loving wife, Phylis; daughters, Paula Chait of MT, Sandra (Darrin) Batty; grandson & "Boo Buddy", Nathan Joseph Batty; brother-in-law, Charles (Florence) Kaplan; extended family, Jean and Roger Awe. Abe was an accomplished equestrian. He held a private pilot's license and enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf. He was a 60 year member of Masonic Lodge #163-ERAC. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak and was a WWII Veteran who served in the European Theatre. A special thank you to the care given at St. John's Home on the 5th Floor of the Reservoir Building. A Private Graveside Service was held in the Webster Union Cemetery. At the request of the family there will be no home visitation.
