Obituary of David M. Levy

David M. Levy, Esq. Passed away February 4, 2011 at age 92. He was predeceased by his wives, Bernice Levy & Peggy Linton Levy; sister, Dorothy. He is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Carol & David Hauter, Yvonne and family, nieces, nephews and many loving friends. David was a Navy Veteran of WWII serving in the South Pacific as a PT Boat Commander, achieving the rank of LT. Commander. He was a graduate of Syracuse University, BA. 1941, where he was a member of the varsity football and ski teams, Syracuse University School of Law, L.L.B., 1948. David was a member of the Monroe County, New York State and the American Bar Associations. He had a wide ranging Civil Litigation practice, for 60 years, with emphasis upon the substantive areas of Eminent Domain, Real Property Tax Certiorari and condemnations of major bus systems nationwide. David will be remembered as an avid skier and fisherman, traveling worldwide and maintained a residence in Aspen for over 50 years. Funeral services will be held on TUESDAY February 8th at 11 AM in the All Seasons Chapel of White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford.
