Obituary of Florence Jacoby, ScD.

Jacoby, Florence ScD., R.N. Brighton: December 3, 2007, at age 86. Predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Marvin; parents, Isadore & Goldie Greenhouse. Survived by her sons, Stuart, Dr. Richard (Christine), Robert (Kay) Jacoby; grandchildren, Benjamin and Joanna; sister, Annette Osband; sisters-in-law, Edith Chernowitz and Helene Jacoby; cousin, Ezra Greenhouse; great-nieces and nephews. Florence revolutionized the care of Burn patients. She wrote the Nursing Care of the Patient with Burns, which became internationally known as the Burn Bible for Nurses. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at 11 AM in the Rabbi Abraham Solomon Chapel of Temple Beth El (139 Winton Rd. S.). Map to Temple Beth El. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery.
