Dear Uncle Alex, I know you're at peace now & can share conversations with Dad like you used to for all those many years. I'm glad I got to spend time with you & see the twinkle in your eyes. It still amazes me that you could read your watch & tell time. And yes, my sweet uncle, you made it to 97 even though you wouldn't believe me. I love you.

Sweet Alex, I only had the pleasure to meet you once in person, but your life, character and integrity were brought to life for me to know in so many stories that your daughter, Eileen shared with me. I have been so blessed that you lived for so many years. I will forerver cherish the special "father-daughter" relationship that we shared. I still feel like "daddy's little girl." Even though we didn't express our feelings, I know in my heart how you felt. There was nothing you wouldn't do for me. I love you & will miss you dearly.

Dear Dad, Although we have never been very demonstrative with feelings I know you loved me and I love you too. Some of my favorite memories include taking Duke the boxer on walks in Durant Eastman Park, the boy's trip to NY when you and I hung out together and working at the Wishing Well with you. I will always remember you living with us in California and when you took Sophie and Adrienne for their walk and I looked forward to the blow by blow report. Lastly, I always enjoyed your laughing out loud while watching Everyone Loves Raymond. I hope you are smiling now.
