My heart goes out to the family. I remember when Irv & Eugenia first moved into the Summit and it wasn't long after that I figured out - he was the King of the Summit. He was sweet and often funny. He will always have a place in my heart.

I have heard of Irving most recently. I regret that I was not young enough to be among his peers. It would have been a pleasure.

Irv and I had a long business relationship. During that time I found him to be an honorable gentleman who earned respect from everyone he dealt with over the years. My condolences to his wife and children on the loss of the patriarch.

I remember Irv as having "old-school" manners. It was a pleasure doing business with him many years ago when I worked at Strong Memorial Hospital. He was someone who could be trusted to keep his word. My condolences to his family.

A few years ago at our mother's service while receiving friends The Coach and Genie got into line to express their condolences. I turned to our son, Jonathan, and said to him..."see that guy? When I grow up I want to be like him." And so I do. We all should be like The Coach.

Sincere condolences. You don't know me but Mr Ruderman's name and face held significance to me as a young member of the Roch Jewish community. He always appeared in the Jewish Ledger as a caring and generous community leader, working on behalf of the Jewish people here and in Israel. He was a role model for the next generation, respected and admired and selfless. He treasured our traditions and values. He will be sorely missed.
