Obituary of Betty Ruth Raines

Betty Ruth Raines Passed away on August 30, 2011 after a long illness. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert B. Raines, to whom she was joyfully married for over 50 years, and her beloved brother, Stewart Docter. Betty was born on March 26, 1933 in Syracuse, NY, the daughter of Jess and Esther Docter. Betty is a graduate of Nottingham High School. Betty was a loving mother to Marsha Raines (Steven Gersz) and Lea (Alan) Wecht. Her beloved grandchildren, Matthew, Elaine, Saul, Larry and Jess will miss her very much. Her nieces, nephews and many friends will remember her with love. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 2, 2011 at 12 NOON in the Rabbi Abraham Solomon Chapel of Temple Beth El (139 Winton Rd. S.). Click here for directions to the temple.
