Obituary of Bernice Bess Raskind

Raskind, Bess (nee Bernice Melin) Passed away on April 14, 2006 at age 94. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 62 years, William "Bill" Raskind and her son-in-law, Daniel J. Blumenthal. She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Blumenthal and her grandchildren, Shira and Benjamin Simon and Elana Blumenthal, her sister-in-law, Ida Wattenberg and brother-in-law, Benjamin Raskind also several nieces and nephews. Services will be held in the Rabbi Abraham Solomon Chapel of Temple Beth El (139 Winton Rd. S.) on Sunday, April 16, at 2PM. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will sit Shiva after the Passover Holiday on Friday (April 21) from 2-4 PM, Sunday-Wednesday (April 23-26) from 1-5 and 7-9 PM at 320 Council Rock Ave. Contributions in Bess' memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 435 E.
