Obituary of Maurice J. Cornell

Maurice J. Cornell Passed away February 12, 2006 at age 96. He is survived by his Loving wife of 64 years, Bernice Children, Sharon (Martin) Rose, Larry Cornell, Ellen (John) James grandchildren, David (Amy) Rose, Douglas (Wendy) Rose, Jonathan (Beth) Rose, Stephanie James, Alexander James & Gregory James 8 great-grandchildren brother, Harry (Regina) Cornell sister-in-law, Joan Lempert nieces & nephews. Maurice along with his brother, Harry founded Cornell Jewelers in the 1930's. Maury was a member of the Flower City Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 16th at 11 AM in the Main Sanctuary at Temple Beth El (139 Winton Road South). Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery. Following the funeral, a period of mourning will be observed at 300 Avalon Court, Thursday 7-9 PM, Friday 2-4 PM & Saturday 7-9 PM.
