Ruvin "Rudy" D. Prokupets Rochester: June 16, 2009. Survived by his loving wife, Elena; son, Daniel (Bethany); grandchildren, Ella, Samuel, Haley; sister, Ida (Joseph) Vanston; nieces, Inga Smith and Laura Makai; father-in-law, Isaac Vilnits; brother-in-law, Alex (Anna) Vilnits; many dear friends including, Maria & Evgeny Shustorovich, Lonny H. Dolin, Stan & Rita Rokhlin, Jim & Phyllis Erwin, Masha Shub, Rose Braude, Joel & Friederike Seligman and Rabbi N. A. Vogel. Rudy founded Lenel Systems International in Pittsford and served on the Boards of Strong Memorial Hospital and the Jewish Community Federation. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 11 AM in the Main Sanctuary of Temple Beth El (139 Winton Rd. S.). Click here for directions to Temple Beth El. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. At the request of the family there will be no home visitation.
