Obituary of Ruth G. Shapiro

Friday, June 10, 2011 at the age of 84. She is predeceased by her first husband, Werner Gonsenhauser and parents, Max & Bertha Ehrenberg. She is survived by her loving husband, Morris; daughter, Anita (Michael) Watson; son, Alan (Wendy) Gonsenhauser; grandchildren, Rachel & Sarah Gonsenhauser and Liam Watson; extended family, Arthur Shapiro , Marilyn Shapiro and many loving friends. Her family would like to thank Yolanda Gavin for the special care and kindness extended to Ruth and her family. Ruth was a Holocaust survivor who immigrated to the US from Germany at age 11. Graveside Services will be held on TUESDAY at 10:30 AM in Mt. Hope Cemetery (Click For Map). Following the funeral, a period of mourning will be observed at The Jewish Home of Rochester (Click For Map) from Noon until 3 PM.
