Dorothy R. Pies Passed away on October 3, 2012 at age 92. Predeceased by her husband, Louis J.; parents, Morris & Jennie Francis & sister, Ada Gerber. Beloved mother to Ellen (John) Erne & David (Diane) Pies; loving grandmother to Melissa (Jason) Yaworsky of Allegany, NY, Susan (Dr. Robert) Rosenblatt, Jeffrey (Melissa) Erne of Stillwater, NJ, Shana (Dr. Nicholas Hammond) Pies & Sara (Jesse) Gotham; proud great grandmother to Anna & Katherine Yaworsky, Joseph, Emma & Charles Rosenblatt; sister to Dr. Norman (Beverly) Francis of Niskayuna, NY; nieces & nephews. Dorothy owned her own salon & was a hairdresser for 65 years & a community volunteer for over 30 years. Graveside Services will be held on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at 10 AM in Britton Road Cemetery.
