Obituary of Ruth Markin

Ruth Markin Passed away January 23, 2012, two weeks shy of her 105 birthday. Predeceased by her husband, Jerome; sisters, Blanche, Sadye & Sylvia Berman, Molly Teck & Esther Schulman; brothers, Irving & Lester Berman. She is survived by her loving children, Lawrence (Sheila) Markin, Margery (Michael) Moss; grandchildren, Linda (Marie LaPre-Grabon) Markin, Amy Markin, Jeffrey (Jill Kaplan) Axelrod, James (Laurie) Axelrod, Jill (Henry Segal) Axelrod; great grandchildren, Sam & Joey Markin, Julia, Ariel, Jodan & Corina Axelrod & Talia & Keira Segal; many nieces & nephews. The family is grateful for the wonderful care provided by the Jewish Home -5 NE and would like to give a special thank you to Sue Boldt, Mary Scheuerman, Maggie Gordon & Rita & Anita Moore. Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 1 PM at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends are asked to gather at the main entrance. Click here for directions.
