Obituary of Ira Kinel

Ira Kinel Passed away on December 18, 2011 after a prolonged illness. Predeceased by his parents, Philip and Ryvka; brothers Jacob, Raymond, Yuda, Aaron, Ziskin, and Yosef; sisters Haya, Hanna and Brancha, and numerous relatives that perished in the Holocaust. He is survived by his devoted wife of over 50 years, Nili, sons Michael (Kathy) and Al (Shari), and daughter Sandra (Todd Bernhard); brother, Sam (Bertie); affectionately known as "Saba" to his cherished grandchildren, Dana, Alex, Ariel, and Lauren; and dozens of nieces & nephews. The family wishes to share our appreciation for the physicians, aides, and others whose compassion and kindness helped make him feel comfortable and at peace during the last year. He was a kind and loving soul who will live forever in the hearts of his family. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Noon in the Main Sanctuary of Temple Beth El (139 Winton Rd. Click for a Map to Temple). Interment, Britton Road Cemetery. Following the funeral, a period of mourning will be observed at 41 Esplanade Dr, in Brighton, Tuesday, 5-9 pm, Wednesday & Thursday, noon-4 pm and 7-9 pm, Friday, noon-2 pm, Saturday, 6-9 pm, Sunday & Monday, noon-4 pm and 7-9 pm.
