Obituary of Theodore Levinson

Theodore "Ted" Levinson Passed away on May 17, 2011 at age 77. Predeceased by his daughter, Donna Levinson; parents, Morris & Jennie; brother, Sidney & sister, Beverly Kolko. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Stella A. "Tillie"; son, Jeffrey (Wendy Howitt) Levinson; granddaughters, Juliana & Mia; sisters-in-law, Arlean Levinson, Rachel (Philip) Weinstein; brothers-in-law, David Alva & Isadore Ouriel; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Ted was a lifelong resident of Brighton and a 50+ year member of Irondequoit Country Club. He joined his father and brother in business at Star Supermarkets, becoming President in 1977. Ted was also a long time board member of RG&E and Central Trust and chaired the 1982 United Way Campaign. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 11 AM in the Main Sanctuary of Temple Beth El (139 Winton Rd. S.). Click here for directions to Beth El. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery.
