Belle is a special person to me and my sister, Ellen Berlowitz-Wang. Our mother, Marian Berlowitz, became friends with Belle when she moved to the Jewish Home. My mother was very fond of Belle and whenever we visited they were together; sitting in Belle's room, enjoying a afternoon nosh downstairs in the cafe or at an art class - where Belle did the art and our mom just enjoying being present. Belle was important person to our mom and we are sincerely grateful that they became friends. Our deepest sympathy to her family.
