Obituary of Susanne Creutzberger

Susanne Creutzberger Brighton, NY/Brookline, MA: At age 84. She was a nurse, world traveler and bargain hunter. Ms. Creutzberger was born in Poland, relocated to Palestine with her family in 1933 and moved to Brookline, MA in 1954. Sue was a surgical nurse at New England Deaconess Hospital until her retirement. Sue was a Bostonian at heart, with great fondness for the mass transit system (she never learned to drive), Filene's Basement (as an infamous bargain hunter), the libraries (preferring biographies, history and nonfiction) and Trader Joes (which she always called 'Trader's Joe'). Sue relocated to Rochester in February 2010 and was cared for by her family until her death on May 6th. She is survived by her brother, Shlomo Katzir (Ein Shemer Kibbutz, Israel), her cousin, Eva Bauman of Rochester, and many nieces, nephews and friends in the United States and Israel. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Jewish Home of Rochester [4 NE] and asks that donations be made in Sue's memory to the Jewish Home Foundation 2021 Winton Road South Rochester, New York 14618 Link to the Jewish Home Foundation Home Brighton, New York Birthplace Poland
