I am so sorry for your loss. Your father endured a tremendous journey during the Holocaust- surviving Shanghai during the war. I just found out about him through "Perilious Journeys" while doing dissertation research. I am sorry that I missed a potential opportunity to meet with him and for him to share his story of coming to the United States from Shanghai.

Dear Helen, Senta, and Lisa. Hermann was the bees knees. He was full of heart and you could only feel happiness when spending time with him. Visitation

Following the funeral, the family will receive friends at 1995 Elmwood Ave, Wednesday 7-9 PM, Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM and Friday 2-4 PM.

Service Info

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 2 PM in the Rabbi Abraham Solomon Chapel of Temple Beth El (139 Winton Rd. S.).

Interment

Temple Beth El Section (Range 10) of Mt. Hope Cemetery.
