Obituary of Eda Schanzer

Eda Schanzer Pittsford: September 1, 2008 at age 92. Predeceased by her husband, Raymond J; brother, Monty Boorin; nephew, Dr. Richard Zucker. Survived by loving daughters, Marilyn (Jean-Guy) Roy, Barbara Schanzer; grandchildren, Dr. Micah Roy, Katherine Roy; sister, Ann Zucker; nieces, Boni (David) Powell, Cathy Zucker; nephew, Jeffery Zucker; great nieces, nephews & cousins. Eda was born in Buffalo and was a photographer for over 30 years in Nantucket. Her love for learning lead her to get a Masters Degree later in life. The family wishes to thank the staff of Heather Heights for the wonderful care and many happy days she had there. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 5, 2008 at 2 PM at Brighton Memorial Chapel, Inc. 3325 Winton Road South. Click here for directions. Interment Prospect Hill Cemetery, Nantucket MA.
