Obituary of Bennie Donsky

On June 30, 2011 at age 89. Predeceased by his sister, Rose Donsky; brothers, Frank (Leah) Donsky, Joseph (Betty) Donsky, Isadore (Myra) Donsky; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Donsky; brothers-in-law, Eli Bauman and Bernard (Linda) Bortnick. Survived by his loving wife Betty and their sons, Gary Donsky & Steven (Christine) Donsky; beloved grandaughter, Leanna Rose Donsky; sister, Evelyn Bauman; brother, Theodore (Betty) Donsky; sister-in-law, Lori (Jack) Ray; brothers-in-law, Benjamin (Arlene) Bortnick & Bert (Sandra) Bortnick. Several nieces and nephews. Bennie was a proud Veteran of WW II and was the recipient of the Purple Heart. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staffs at HCR Home Care, Unity at Home and The Jewish Home of Rochester especially the staff on 6 South West. Graveside services will be held on TUESDAY, 10 AM at Britton Road Cemetery (Click for Map to Cemetery). The family will receive friends immediately following the burial until 3 PM & WEDNESDAY from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at 181 Woodleaf, Pittsford,14534.
