Obituary of Muriel A. Katz

Muriel A. Katz Passed away August 13, 2007 at age 81. Predeceased by her parents, Isadore & Sarah Appelbaum sister, Shirley Helderman and son-in-law, Robert D. Mount. Survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Samuel A. Katz devoted daughters, Sharon B. Katz, Gail B. Katz and Jill (Robert Moskowitz) Katz cherished grandchildren, Sabra, Sarah, Nadia, Rosie, Elana, Rae Anne, Michal and Jacob niece, Carol Lewis nephew, Harold Helderman and many dear friends. Muriel was active in many community organizations. The family would like to acknowledge Rabbis Matthew Field and Sandra Katz, Hazzan Martin Leubitz and the wonderful staff on the 4th Floor Unit 1/2 of the Jewish Home of Rochester for all their love and caring support. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at 2 PM in the Sanctuary of Temple Beth El (139 Winton Rd. S.). Map to Temple Beth El. Interment, Britton Road Cemetery. Following the funeral a period of mourning will be observed Wednesday 7-9 PM at the Summit at Brighton Map to The Summit/Wolk Manor. and will then continue at 32 Monteroy Road, Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM, Friday 2-4 PM & Sunday and Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Map to the house of mourning.
