Obituary of Melvyn Gurell

Melvyn Gurell Rochester: October 18, 2008, after a courageous battle with cancer. Survived by wife, Cynthia; sons, Robert Gurell, Sean (Mandi) Gurell, & Kenneth Gurell; grandchild, Reece; Brother, Earl (Rhonda) Gurell; Sister, Tala (Charles) Rosenbaum of Forest Hills; many loving nieces and nephews. Mel was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a kind-hearted, compassionate, and generous man who will be sorely missed by all who knew him. The family would like to thank the staff at the Lipson Cancer Center & Lifetime Care Hospice for the wonderful care they provided. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 20, 2008 at 2 PM in the Main Sanctuary of Temple Beth El (139 Winton Rd S.). Click here for direction to the temple. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery.
