Obituary of Milton P. Axelrod

Milton P. Axelrod Passed away on December 7, 2011 at age 86. Predeceased by his loving wife of 60 years, Joyce; parents, Jacob & Gertrude Axelrod; sister, Reva Friedman. He is survived by his devoted children, Jill (Michael) Sobiesczyk, Susan (Richard) Solomon & Larry (Lisa) Axelrod; affectionately known as "Papa" to his cherished grandchildren, Benjamin, Rachel (Avi) Binstock, Joshua, Zachary, Rebecca, Jordyn, Rian & Bayley; brother, Lester (Joan) Axelrod; nieces & nephews. Milt was a Veteran of World War II. The family wishes to thank the staff of ACE (4th Floor of Highland Hospital), especially caregivers, Keri, Connie & Emily as well as Dr. Wan Park, Dr. Anthony Pietropaoli & Dr. Alexander Solky & the entire staff of Interlakes Oncology for their loving care. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at 1 PM in the Main Sanctuary of Temple B'rith Kodesh (2131 Elmwood Ave.). Click here for directions to the temple.
