Obituary of Ruth Gordon Katz

Ruth Gordon Katz Passed away on June 23, 2012. Predeceased by her parents, Morris & Goldie Gordon; brother, Isadore Gordon; sister, Sylvia Karch. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Gerald; devoted children, Linda Katz & Robert (Ann Chase) Katz; sister-in-law, Anne Gordon & nephew, Jonathan Gordon. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks to the wonderful caregivers who made Ruth's life so comfortable at home these past few years. Ruth was a longtime member of Irondequoit Country Club, a past president of both Temple Beth El Sisterhood and Hadassah and volunteer in the Rochester City School District. She enjoyed golf, tennis and traveling, but her true love was her family. Graveside Services will be held Sunday, June 24, 2012 at 1 PM in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
