Sgt. Richard B. Raz "Commander" August 21, 2011. Passed away at home with his family. Survived by his loving wife, Mary; beloved father to, Linda Tummolo, Steven Raz, Kathy (Michael) Kay, David Raz, Michalene (Brett) Kinsler, Jennifer (Christopher) Martin, Nathan (Maki) Elliott; adoring grandchildren, Lisa, Becca, Michael, Steven, Kelly, Spencer, Melanie, Toby, McKayla, Sasha, Sebastian, Scarlett, Alisa and Liana; great grandchildren; sister, Phyllis (Paul) Horowitz; nieces, nephews & cousins. Born in Rochester, Dick enjoyed his family and serving as a Sergeant for the Brighton Police Force and Highland Hospital Security. He also served his country in the Marine Corp. during the Korean Conflict. Dick's gentle loving ways and quick humor made him loved by all. He will be missed. The family extends a special thank you to the Palliative Care staff at Strong and Visiting Nurse Service.
