Obituary of Julius Fine

Julius Fine Passed away on April 13, 2011 at age 92. Predeceased by his parents, Myer & Sadie Fine, brother, Manuel Fine & sisters-in-law, Helen Aresty Fine & Ruth Fine. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Helen; son, Robert; brothers, Irving, Harvey (Barbara) & Dr. Paul (Rochelle) Fine; sister-in-law, Geraldine Fine & many nieces & nephews. In his youth, Julius enjoyed racing pigeons. As a result, he was assigned to the Army Signal Corp. during World War II. He served with Patton's 3rd Army and was one of the first to enter Buchenwald as a liberator. Recently, Julius flew on the Honor Flight program. After his retirement from Hickey Freeman Co., he continued to work for the next 15 years for the Law firm of Johnson, Mullan & Brundage. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Larry Chessin & the staff of the VA Medical Services. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 12:30 PM at White Haven Memorial Park. Friends are asked to gather at the main entrance. Click here for directions to the cemetery.
