Obituary of Benoit Massouda

Benoit Massouda Passed away on September 20, 2012 at age 90. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Esther; sons, Samuel & Nabil (Debora); sister, Florence; grandson, Nathan. Benoit was born in Cairo, Egypt in 1922. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture from the University of Cairo in 1943 and a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Rochester in 1964. In Cairo, he taught Math and Science at the Junior High Jewish School for 15 years. In 1959 he immigrated with his family to the beloved country of the USA. From 1961 to 1985 he taught Science at Brighton High School. Funeral Services will be held on MONDAY, September 24th at 11 AM in the Rabbi Abraham Solomon Chapel of Temple Beth El, 139 Winton Road South (Click for a Map to Temple). Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends at temple from 10 – 11 AM prior to the service. There will be no home visitation.
