A true original and a memorable character. Uncle Herbie lives on, vibrantly, in my dad's sense of humor, and in my own, as well as in his children and grandchildren, of course, and in so many other people whose lives he touched. Much love, Sara

To Herbie's family,
I knew your father from his days at Rochester One Stop and Record Theater on West Henrietta Road. I had seen him several times over the years and we always had a delightful time reminiscing about the record days. He was one of the most pleasant people I have known; a true gem. I know he will be missed by all.
