Obituary of Susan Spector (Naimark)

Passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018 in Sanibel, FL at the age of 68. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, David; three children, Adam (Sarah) Spector, Jacquelyn Spector & Elizabeth (Michael) Spector Callahan; granddaughter Zoey & sister Barbara Friedman. Preceded by her parents,  Shirley & Edward Naimark. 

Susan was born in Montreal, Canada. She held a BA and a Masters degree from McGill University in Speech Pathology. She was bilingual and taught English as a Second language at Rochester Institute of Technology and Nazareth College. In addition to being an avid learner, she was an amazing cook and baker and was passionate about the outdoors. She enjoyed gardening, running and walking. Susan volunteered as an ombudsman for the elderly and also as a literacy volunteer for many years.  

Services will be held on Thursday, March 29th, 2018 at 11 AM at Temple Sinai, (363 Penfield Rd.). Interment, White Haven Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends and family at their home at 14 Stonegate Lane, Pittsford on Thursday from 1-4 PM. Please consider a donation to the Parkinson’s Foundation in lieu of flowers.
