Mr. Sanow was a recipient of numerous military honors and awards; beloved husband of the late Arlyne Sanow (nee Lewis); devoted father of Michael Lewis Sanow of Baltimore, MD and Jacqueline Martins of Mahopac, NY; devoted father-in-law of Frank Martins; loving brother of Netta Kaplan of Nofyam, Israel, and the late Florence Rappaport; cherished grandfather of Julie Rebecca and Brian Landry, Jane-Rachel and Rabbi Aaron Schonbrun, Lieba and Daniel Savitt, and Elissa Faye Martins; loving great grandfather of Alexander Landry, Aviva, Gavriel, and Leora Schonbrun, and Madalyne Landry. Funeral Services are being held at Sol Levinson & Bros., Inc. in Baltimore, Maryland on Monday, September 1, 2008 at 10 AM. Interment will be held privately in the Gideon Lodge plot of Britton Road Cemetery.
