Obituary of Sanford H. Ehrlich

Sandy H. Ehrlich Passed away on September 4, 2011 at age 80. Predeceased by parents, Irving & Diana; brother, Alan. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Peppy Ehrlich; daughter, Alison (Scott) Manaker of Swarthmore, PA; son, David Ehrlich of West Chester, OH; grandchildren, Jacob, Eli, Ava Manaker & Ethan Ehrlich; sister, Jean Ginsburg; many nieces & nephews. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Sandy graduated from Spring Valley High School, received his B.S. from NYU & his PhD in Physical Chemistry from Adelphi University. Sandy served honorably during the Korean War and was employed by Eastman Kodak for 33 years as a research chemist. He was a long-time respected youth soccer coach who started the Pittsford Hawks Soccer Club. Sandy will be sadly missed by family, friends, colleagues and several generations of soccer players. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 23, 2011 from 10-11:30 AM at Brighton Memorial Chapel, 3325 Winton Road South, to share stories of Sandy and celebrate his life.
