Obituary of Betty H. Katzen

Betty Heller Katzen Brighton: October 13, 2009 at age 88. Predeceased by her parents, Minnie and Israel E. Heller and her twin brother, David Moses Heller. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Leon; children, Joshua, of Newton, MA, Mollie, of Berkeley CA, Daniel, of LaCanada, CA, Ezra, of Hod Hasharon, Israel; grandchildren, Sonya, Abraham & Eli Katzen, Samuel Black and Eve Shames, Stewart and Joey Katzen, Reuben, Minnie and Oren Katzen. Betty earned a B.A. at Cornell University and an M.S.W. at Columbia University and worked as a social worker in the City School District of Rochester. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 1:30 PM in the Main Sanctuary of Temple Beth El (139 Winton Rd.). Click here for directions to Temple Beth El.
