Obituary of Lenore Weiss Cooper

November 24, 2018 at age 83. Predeceased by her parents Julius and Ethel Weiss. Survived by her loving and devoted husband of 62 years Don Cooper; son, Steven Cooper; daughter, Marcy (Jeff Johnson) Cooper-Silver; grandchildren, Jillian and Sam Silver; brother Norman (Geri) Weiss of Chicago.
Lenore's first love was teaching. She taught 1st grade in Chicago for many years. In Rochester Lenore taught youngsters and supervised in two Nursery Schools. In later years she became an accomplished stained glass artist and with her husband built a successful business.
Lenore's Funeral Service will be held WEDNESDAY 1 PM in the All Seasons Chapel of White Haven Memorial Park. Interment private. Donations in her memory can be made to The Parkinson's Foundation Greater Rochester Chapter, WXXI or Jewish Senior Life Foundation.
Lenore's family wishes to express their deepest appreciation for the care given to her by the staff on the 4th floor NE of the Jewish Home.
