Welcome to Parsky Memorial Chapel.com
The Parsky Memorial Chapel was founded in the early 1920s by Alexander Parsky to
meet the needs of the expanding Jewish population in the Rochester area.
Always an independently-owned funeral home, Parsky's continues its
tradition of serving only those with the common bond of Judaism, whether
Orthodox, Conservative, Reconstructionist or Reform.
Today the memorial chapel is operated by Philip Kaplan, a Rochester
native, who began his funeral service career with Alexander and Jacob Parsky
in 1962. Mr. Kaplan continues the Parsky tradition of caring in a time of
emotional stress, honoring the requests of the surviving family and carrying
out their wishes in a dignified manner with utmost respect.
