Obituary of Benjamin M Kaplow

Kaplow, Benjamin M. Passed away, March 23, 2007, at age 82. Born in Westfield, PA. Predeceased by parents, Esther and Jacob Kaplow sister, Arnette Goldstein brother, Robert Kaplow. Survived by his Loving wife of 53 years, Florence children, David (Tiralisa) Kaplow, Dr. Joan (Dr. Michael Obrecht) Kaplow grandchildren, Gregory Kaplow, Spencer & Serena Obrecht sister, Ruth Bigelson sister-in-law, Margaret Kaplow many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ben served during WW II in the Yankee Division and was awarded a Bronze Star for bravery behind enemy lines. Along with his wife he served as the former Administrator of the Stanley H. Kaplan Educational Centers in Rochester, Buffalo and Erie, PA. A special thank you to the VNS Hospice Team for their wonderful care of Ben. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 25th at 1:30 PM in the Benjamin Goldstein Chapel of Temple B'rith Kodesh (2131 Elmwood Ave.). Map to Temple B'rith Kodesh Immediately following the Service a period of mourning will be observed at 33 Viennawood Dr., also on Monday & Tuesday 2-4, 6-8 PM. Map to the house of mourning.
